Get ready for another season of American Idol! ABC has confirmed the host and judges for Season 25, and fans will see some very familiar faces when the singing competition returns in 2027.

Ryan Seacrest will return as host, while Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie are all coming back to the judges' table.

The news was announced September 24 during Luke Bryan's concert in Nashville. Bryan and Underwood were onstage, while Richie appeared on the big screen to help reveal the news.

Who Are the ‘American Idol’ Season 25 Judges?

The Season 25 judging panel will remain the same.

Carrie Underwood will return for her third season as a judge. Underwood has a special connection to the competition, having won American Idol in 2005 before eventually returning to the show as a judge.

Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie will also be back. Season 25 marks their 10th season as judges on the ABC version of the show. Both joined the series when ABC revived American Idol in 2018.

Ryan Seacrest will once again host. He has been part of American Idol since its original run and has hosted the competition throughout its transition from Fox to ABC.

‘American Idol’ Is Moving to Georgia

There will be one major change when American Idol returns.

After more than two decades of filming in Los Angeles, production is moving to Georgia for Season 25. The Atlanta area will serve as the show's new production location.

The move comes as the show continues its search for America's next singing sensation.

When Does ‘American Idol’ Season 25 Premiere?

Season 25 is scheduled to return in 2027, but ABC has not announced an exact premiere date yet. Auditions for the upcoming season are already underway.

For now, fans can expect another season featuring a familiar host, a familiar judging panel and plenty of new singers hoping to earn their spot in the spotlight.
