The Latin music world is getting ready for another big night, and the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards are already giving fans plenty to talk about. With major names like Rosalía, Karol G, Anitta, and Carin León earning nominations, this year's ceremony is shaping up to be a celebration of established stars and fresh talent.

On Wednesday, Sept. 16, the Latin Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, officially kicking off the countdown to one of Latin music's biggest nights.

From powerful collaborations to full-length albums and rising artists looking to make their mark, the nominations cover a wide range of sounds and styles. Whether you're here for the biggest names or hoping to discover your next favorite artist, there's plenty to explore.

“We are honored to present this year’s nominees for the 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of the Latin Recording Academy, in a statement.

“These artists reflect the extraordinary diversity and constant evolution of Latin music, and our Academy continues to evolve in response to this dynamic, creative landscape,” continued Abud. “At the heart of our Awards Process are our members, whose participation and expertise ensure that the Latin Grammy remains the benchmark for excellence in Latin music.”

How the 2026 Latin Grammy Nominees Were Selected

The nominations are based on recordings released between June 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026. According to the Latin Recording Academy, all songs considered must be new and contain a minimum of 60% lyrics performed in Spanish, Portuguese or any native regional language.

That means the nominees represent music released during a specific eligibility period, giving fans a chance to see which songs and albums made an impact during the past year.

The 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will air live on Univision on Thursday, Nov. 12, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
