The Spice Girls revealed The Singles Collection on Sept. 10. The collection will be available as separate 14-CD and 14-record colored-vinyl box sets.  Some fans felt let down after the group teased something big that many hoped would be a reunion tour.

The collection will debut on Nov. 6, and it will have all their singles, B-sides, and tracks that never saw the light of day before, including "Do You Think About Me," one of the group's earliest recordings, and three other unreleased demos that have been sitting in the vault for decades. Vinyl and CD versions will feature original artwork and personal messages from all five members.

Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisholm posted a mysterious video on Sept. 9. The clip showed a newspaper on the stairs of London's St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, where the "Wannabe" music video was filmed in 1996. The newspaper displayed an advertisement from The Stage, the same publication that ran the original ad looking for artists for an all-female group in 1994.

The pop group shot to worldwide fame after releasing "Wannabe" in 1996. The song hit No. 1 in 37 countries. Their debut album, Spice, became the best-selling album by a girl group of all time, moving millions of copies and spawning hit after hit across continents. The band produced nine UK No. 1 singles and two chart-topping albums before going on indefinite hiatus in December 2000.

Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell reunited for a tour in 2019. Victoria Beckham didn't join, choosing instead to focus on her fashion business. The five members last performed together at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.

"We are communicating all the time; we want to do something," said Melanie Chisholm in March, according to People. "Who knows when? But I still feel very optimistic, and I keep my fingers crossed that you will see the Spice Girls together at some point in the future." Melanie Brown told Page Six that she wants to tour, as well. "I'm always the one going, 'Yes, we're going on tour,'" she said. "I would love to go on tour. I would love to do music, but it isn't happening."

The official U.S. store lists the CD box set for $149.98 and the colored-vinyl edition for $249.98.
