Ariana Grande completed her Eternal Sunshine tour on Sept. 1 at London's O2 Arena. She'll step away from public appearances after weathering intense criticism about her health and how she looks. The 33-year-old star performed in 41 shows. Ten of them in London drew 200,000 fans.
"Thank you for 10 beautiful London shows and for 41 incredible Eternal Sunshine tour shows," Grande said, according to Variety. "This has been one of the most beautiful extraordinary experiences of my life, and I just wanted to express my gratitude without sobbing completely."
The tour started in Oakland, California, in June. Grande sang through tears during "One Last Time." The song has become an anthem for those who survived the 2017 Manchester terror attack.
Grande's video for "Petal" sparked worry among fans about her weight. "I heard that my fans were worried that negativity was ruining things for me, but I just have to say, that could not be more ... opposite," the performer added.
Grande performed with a foot injury during her final shows. She switched her trademark stilettos for platform boots.
The final performance ended with Grande attached to a harness, rising into the rafters of the O2 Arena before vanishing from view. Fans traveled from China, Australia, and cities across Europe to attend the London residency.
