Jennifer Hudson Show Returns September 14 With Doja Cat, Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx

The Jennifer Hudson Show will start its fifth season on Sept. 14 with Doja Cat, Tom Cruise. Jamie Foxx, and the cast from the A Different World reboot. The syndicated talk show will begin with GRAMMY winner Doja Cat discussing Tour Ma Vie.

Tom Cruise will make his first appearance on the program to discuss his new film, Digger. Foxx's debut visit will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dreamgirls and discuss his new comedy special.

Season 5 brings guests like H.E.R., Tyler Perry, and Riz Ahmed. The Hunting Wives cast, including Malin Akerman, Brittany Snow, Jamie Ray Newman, and Dermot Mulroney, will appear. America's Got Talent favorites Mel B., Howie Mandel, and Terry Crews will join the lineup, as well.

Project Runway judge Law Roach will visit, and Summer House star Ciara Miller will tape at the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles. The show has collected 18 Daytime Emmy Award nominations since it started. Five came this year. 

Season 5 got the green light in February. "I could not be more honored to continue this journey alongside a phenomenal group of brilliant producers, dedicated crew, and collaborative partners," Hudson said, according to Entertainment Weekly.

"It is such a joy to connect with people in meaningful ways every day across this country and to share stories of heart and inspiration, all while bringing entertainment into people's lives," she added. "None of this would be possible without our incredible audience. They are the heartbeat of the show, and I am so excited to take this to new heights in Season 5!"
