JENNIE is having a very busy week, and apparently, three tracks, a cinematic music video and a futuristic fashion collection are all part of the plan.

The BLACKPINK star has officially released her new solo digital EP, Fallen Angel, a three-track project arriving through her label Odd Atelier in partnership with Columbia Records. The release also comes with a dark, fairytale-inspired music video for the title track, giving fans a glimpse into a more mysterious side of her creative world.

The EP is built around self-expression, with JENNIE playing with the contrast between light and dark. Instead of keeping things simple, she leans into surreal visuals, dramatic settings and a little bit of fantasy.

Welcome to JENNIE’s Dark Fairytale

The “Fallen Angel” music video looks like it could take place inside a strange dream. Foggy landscapes, warped architecture and heavy visual effects help create a cinematic world that feels both beautiful and slightly unsettling.

There is even plenty of fire, although fans do not have to worry about JENNIE or anyone else standing around actual flames for the camera. A disclaimer accompanying the video confirms that all featured fire was created using CG visual effects. Scenes involving minors were also filmed under strict safety supervision.

The title track is joined by “Heaven,” which JENNIE previously performed during her headline set at the Open’er Festival in Gdynia, Poland. Rounding out the EP is “Less Than a Lover,” a summer-inspired track that adds another mood to the short but varied project.

For fans who have been waiting for more solo material, Fallen Angel gives them three new pieces of JENNIE’s musical world without making them wait through an entire album cycle.

The EP is available now to stream across major digital platforms.

From Fallen Angel to Cosmic Ballerina

JENNIE’s creative streak does not stop with music. She is also stepping into a new role with adidas Originals.

Building on the anticipation created by the initial teaser announcement and the official unveiling of the SUPERSTAR SQ BALLET, adidas Originals and global icon JENNIE have formally revealed their full Fall/Winter 2026 collaborative collection.

This time, JENNIE is moving beyond her longtime role as a brand ambassador and into the world of co-design. The collection is built around the concept of “FUNCTIONAL GRACE,” which sounds fancy, but the idea is pretty straightforward: take classic athletic clothing and give it a graceful, futuristic twist.

The collection pulls inspiration from classical ballet, but JENNIE is not simply recreating traditional dancewear. Instead, she mixes ballet shapes with adidas' sporty history to create something that feels more futuristic and fashion-forward.

The campaign is called “Cosmic Ballerina: Kinematics,” and the visuals place the collection against a dreamy, almost outer-space-like backdrop. The overall mood focuses on quiet confidence, fluid movement and modern femininity.

In other words, this ballerina is not exactly heading to the traditional dance studio.

The Superstar Gets a Ballet Makeover

The centerpiece of the footwear collection is the SUPERSTAR SQ BALLET, a dramatic reworking of adidas' classic shell-toe sneaker.

The design combines the familiar Superstar silhouette with the shape of a ballet pointe shoe. It features a premium leather upper, soft lambskin lining, a squared-off toe box and customizable ribbon details.

That combination gives the shoe a curious identity. It can look at home in streetwear while still carrying obvious references to dance and performance art.

The rest of the collection continues with the same idea.

The apparel lineup includes redesigned track tops and matching track pants with wraparound constructions, knit wrap cardigans, sheer sleeveless bodysuits, sheer leggings and wrap skirts. There are also polar fleece half-zip hoodies designed for easy layering.

Accessories get the ballet treatment too, with high-knit leg warmers and cut-out socks adding another touch of JENNIE's signature style.

Together, the pieces create a wardrobe that sits somewhere between the dance studio, the street and a science-fiction dream sequence.

The full adidas Originals by JENNIE FW26 “FUNCTIONAL GRACE” collection officially releases globally on September 1, 2026. The collection will be available through select adidas flagship stores, the adidas CONFIRMED app, online at adidas.com/JENNIE, and through select global retail partners.

With Fallen Angel already out and her adidas collection arriving next, JENNIE is clearly building more than just another era. She is creating a whole visual world around it, one where dark fairytales, summer sounds, ballet ribbons and futuristic sneakers somehow make perfect sense together.
