The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical has stretched its West End stint at the Dominion Theatre until Sept. 25, 2027. The show will hit its 800th performance on Sept. 23, 2026. Playbill wrote, "Tony winner Jerry Mitchell is directing and choreographing, vastly reimagining the musical since its U.S. bow."

Since opening in December 2024, it's been the fastest-selling production in Dominion Theatre history. Over 1.2 million tickets have moved.

Matt Henry plans to stick around as Nigel through February 2027, canceling his Oct. 17 exit date and giving audiences several extra months with him. Vanessa Williams will depart her Miranda Priestly role on Sept. 19, and no one's been tapped yet to fill her shoes.

Elton John crafted the music, while Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick penned lyrics. Kate Wetherhead wrote the book, and Jerry Mitchell directed and choreographed.

More than £1.5 million (about $2 million) in fashion fills the stage. Pieces from Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, and Balmain appear alongside vintage finds and secondhand treasures. Terry de Havilland provided over 80 pairs of shoes.

Chicago saw the first version in 2022 with different creatives and performers. Mitchell reworked everything for London.

Last year brought the West End cast recording. It contains two previously unheard Elton John demos.

Andy Sachs wants to be a journalist. She was hired as Miranda Priestly's assistant at Runway Magazine. Now, she faces tough choices about what to give up as high fashion pulls her in.

Lauren Weisberger's 2003 novel sparked the whole thing, followed by the 2006 film. That movie pulled in $326 million at box offices worldwide and scored two Academy Awards. A sequel debuted on May 1.

Kevin McCollum, David Furnish, and Jamie Wilson are producing this co-production with Theatre Royal Plymouth, where it opened on July 6, 2024, before moving to London. Tickets are available at DevilWearsPradaMusical.com.
