NBA 2K27 Will Feature Tracks From A$AP Rocky, Don Toliver, Bad Bunny, and Snoop Dogg at September Launch

NBA 2K27 will arrive on Sept. 4 for Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game packs a 57-song soundtrack with music from A$AP Rocky, Don Toliver, Bad Bunny, Kehlani, and Snoop Dogg. Players who pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate editions can jump into the basketball simulation seven days ahead on Aug. 28.

"NBA 2K27 features an energizing playlist that captures that rhythm, fueling your path to greatness and keeping your game locked in 24/7," reads a press release. "This year's soundtrack bridges generations, blending both timeless classics and today's hits from artists like Don Toliver, T.I., Bad Bunny, Kehlani, and Snoop Dogg." 

The launch playlist sprawls across many genres. J. Cole's "Two Six" sits alongside Tyler, The Creator's "That Guy." Burna Boy teamed up with Travis Scott on "Tatata." Baby Keem, Vince Staples, French Montana, Yeat, and Bruno Mars all contributed tracks, too.

Developer 2K will refresh the soundtrack each season. Basketball players, musicians, and producers will choose what gets added next. Season one celebrates East Coast hip-hop and R&B from the 1990s through the early 2000s, pulling in Mos Def, Mary J. Blige, and A Tribe Called Quest.

The complete launch soundtrack also includes "Helicopter" by A$AP Rocky, "Gemstone" by Don Toliver, "House Money" by Baby Keem, and "Big Fish" by Vince Staples. Bigxthaplug makes an appearance. So do Isaiah Rashad, Youngboy Never Broke Again, Jid, Nas, and Dame D.O.L.L.A.

Acts from around the world will pop up throughout. Gims, Tiakola, Yuko Chiba, Disiz, and Young Miko represent French, Japanese, and Latin markets.

Rock bands The Killers and Stone Temple Pilots will bring "Mr Brightside" and "Vasoline" to the mix. Trampolene and Babyshambles will finish off the rock picks.

2K will host a presentation on Aug. 18. They'll break down gameplay mechanics, innovations, and what's different this year.
