Rihanna Brings Three Children to Barbados Street Renamed in Her Honor

Rihanna shared pictures on Instagram on Aug. 11. Her three kids visited the Barbados street where she spent her early years. The 38-year-old musician brought sons RZA, 4, and Riot, 3, plus daughter Rocki Irish, 11 months, to the place. It used to be Westbury New Road, and now it's Rihanna Drive.

"One minute I feel like that kid from Westbury…the next minute I'm bringing my own kids back to 'Rihanna Drive,'" she wrote in the post. "Trippy how life works! And the Glory STILL and WILL ALWAYS belong to the Almighty Creator!!!"

The pictures show them standing next to a ground sign that reads "Rihanna." They posed in front of the house where she grew up. This street rests on Bridgetown's outskirts, wedged between ocean views and Westbury Cemetery.

The Barbadian government changed the street's name in late 2017, during the country's Independence Day celebrations. Since then, officials have marked it as a tourist spot and a piece of history.

Rihanna shares her three kids with partner A$AP Rocky, 37. They've been together since 2020. RZA arrived in 2022. Riot came in 2023, and Rocki in 2025.

This visit happened after she attended Barbados' Grand Kadooment Day parade on Aug. 4. It was the final event of the month-long Crop Over festival. She wore a turquoise costume covered in gemstones, peacock feathers, and crystals. Barbadian designer Lauren Austin created it.
