Cardi B Extends Billboard Chart Streak to 10 Years With ‘AH HA’ Debut

Cardi B just landed her 30th top 10 hit on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs chart. "AH HA" burst onto the scene at No. 3 on the chart dated Aug. 15, according to Billboard, marking a full decade of dominance. She's now posted at least one new top 10 entry on this list every year since 2017.

"AH HA" pulled in 9.5 million streams during its opening week. Radio airplay audience impressions hit 5.6 million, while physical CD purchases and downloads added 9,000 sales in the July 31-Aug. 6 tracking week across the United States, according to Luminate data, per Billboard. The standalone single kicked off at No. 3 on the Rap Streaming Songs chart. It became the top-selling rap song that week.

The track made waves across multiple charts. It debuted at No. 5 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. On the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, it grabbed the No. 25 spot. Airplay rankings showed strong performance too — No. 29 on the audience-based R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, No. 34 on Rhythmic Airplay, and No. 40 on the plays-based Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay recap.

Her 30th career top 10 hit on Hot Rap Songs ties Gunna for the 13th-best total on the 37-year-old chart. Drake sits at the top with 156 top 10s. Among women, Cardi trails only Nicki Minaj's 51.

The streak started in 2017. "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" climbed into the top 10 with a 14-8 jump on the ranking dated Aug. 26, 2017. That breakthrough smash later hit No. 1 — the first of her seven chart-toppers to date. She followed with four in 2018, four in 2019, one in 2020, two in 2021, two in 2022, two in 2023, two in 2024, nine in 2025, and now "AH HA" in 2026.

"AH HA" gave her other projects a boost. Her latest album, 2025's Am I The Drama?, climbed from 18 to 13 on Top Rap Albums. The album, which spent eight weeks at No. 1, earned 13,000 equivalent album units for the week — a 10% jump from the previous week.

Among female rappers, only Nicki Minaj has more placements in the top 40 region. She has 75 entries compared to 66 for Cardi B, who was born Belcalis Almanzar. TMZ spotted the artist in New York City on Aug. 10 filming what appeared to be a video shoot. Rumors swirl that she might tap Kash Doll for an official remix.
