Yungblud Returns to Perform "Luna"
British rocker Yungblud joined the band for a performance of "Luna," a fan-favorite from Siamese Dream, less than an hour after his own set.
The collaboration was especially fitting given Yungblud's longstanding appreciation for the band's music. The young rocker told the crowd, “This is a f—ing dream come true,” according to Billboard.
Olivia Rodrigo Joins the Band for "Thirty-Three"
One of the night's biggest surprises came when Olivia Rodrigo took the stage to perform "Thirty-Three," a beloved track from The Smashing Pumpkins' landmark 1995 album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
Rodrigo's appearance showcased her admiration for alternative rock and continued her growing list of collaborations with legendary '90s artists. Fans greeted the performance with thunderous applause as she and Billy Corgan traded vocals on the emotional classic.
Melissa Auf der Maur Reunites With the Band
The surprises didn't end there. Former Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf der Maur joined the band for a Lollapalooza aftershow and performed "The Everlasting Gaze.”
