Carl Cox and David Guetta Play First Back-to-Back Set at UNVRS Ibiza

Carl Cox and David Guetta played their first back-to-back set together on July 26 at UNVRS Ibiza. The all-night session happened as part of Cox's weekly summer residency at the club.

The performance was a birthday celebration for Cox ahead of his 64th birthday on July 29. Cox teased the show on Instagram, writing, "Well... this was about time." Guetta added that the set would give him the opportunity to move away from the hits fans expect at his own UNVRS residency and play something different.

Guetta also posted and recalled their first collab in 2008 saying "From our very first B2B at Ultra Miami in 2008 to 2026 at [UNVRS]. Thank you for having me @carlcoxofficial 🙏 A night to remember!"

The artists announced plans for the back-to-back set in February, according to DJMag. Both DJs have residencies at the venue on the White Isle.

Cox has been a fixture in electronic music for decades. Clips from the performance showed up on both artists' Instagram accounts.
