Megan Thee Stallion Wants an Official Hosting Position on ‘Love Island USA’

Megan Thee Stallion has expressed interest in securing a permanent hosting slot on Love Island USA. She appeared as a guest during the seventh and eighth seasons of the show. The GRAMMY winner told People she wants to join Love Island: Aftersun, the companion talk show that dissects episodes with cast members.

"I feel like I'd be tapped in and have an understanding of what's happening," the rapper said, according to People. "I feel like I will have good insight. I would have good questions, like, 'Tell me what was really said that we didn't see.'"

The "Whenever" artist first arrived in 2025 when she hosted the Build-a-Bombshell challenge. Her real name is Megan Pete. She came back to the show to judge the Hot Girl Bakery challenge, which ended with the return of two Casa Amor bombshells.

Megan Thee Stallion said she would welcome the chance to work alongside Ariana Madix. Madix has served as main host since 2024. The Aftersun program has cycled through hosting changes in recent seasons, with Ciara Miller and Tefi Pessoa filling those roles after Maura Higgins left.

Viewers praised her appearance during the cake-throwing challenge when tensions rose between male and female contestants. "There were some things going on that wasn't to my liking, but I feel like everything happened how it was supposed to," she told the outlet.

The 31-year-old correctly predicted this season's winners from the start. Bryce Alakai and Trinity Tatum took home the $100,000 prize. She described the result as satisfying.

"I feel like we all pretty much knew that Bryce and Trinity were going to win," she told the publication. "They're who I wanted to win from the beginning. I feel like America voted really well and got our people to the top spot."

The final four in the eighth season included three other couples. Carl Schmidt and Aniya Harve, Sincere Rhea and Melanie Moreno, as well as Zach Georgiou and Kayda Bosse, all made it to the closing stages.

The artist offered an alternative ending she would have supported. "If all the girls could have left together, I would've been happy about that too," she said, referring to contestants Kenzie Annis, Tierra Davis, Jennifer Terry, Amora Robinson, Jaiden Bacciocco, and Parmida Keshani.
