Burna Boy and J Balvin Release Music Video for ‘Rollercoaster’ Track

Burna Boy and J Balvin dropped the video for their work "Rollercoaster." The track sits on the GRAMMY winner's album Love, Damini.

The piece mixes Afro-Fusion with Latin sounds. J Balvin adds a verse. It pairs the Nigerian star with the Colombian performer.

Love, Damini pulls in acts from around the globe, showing what happens when different musical worlds collide. Ed Sheeran shows up on "For My Hand," while other cuts weave through hip-hop, reggae, pop, High-Life, R&B, rap, and jazz.

The album contains "Last Last," which borrows from Toni Braxton. That track talks about his split from Steflon Don and became the first single.

Burna Boy took the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York. Fans packed the venue and heard songs before anyone else.

The "Rollercoaster" lyrics say: "I don't want you to dey waste my time / I don't wanna wait 'til it's all over / This life is a gift from the most high Jah / That is why I'm thankful for all I have."

The chorus goes: "Wetin I see for this life plenty / I keep am for my belly (rollercoaster) / People be like any (rollercoaster) / My life now, rollercoaster."

The work brings African and diaspora sounds together in one space, creating something that wasn't there before. Production aims to hit international marks while keeping ties to African music roots.

J Balvin has teamed up with performers across styles. His spot on "Rollercoaster" builds his collection of cross-border projects.
