White Claw teamed up with two-time GRAMMY-nominated artist Teddy Swims to debut their first merchandise collection on July 16. The lineup features a bear-shaped pool float, a hoodie, and a T-shirt.
This limited-edition capsule marks the brand's first-ever merchandise collaboration with an artist. The Floatmate costs $85, and it's the star of the collection. This oversized inflatable includes a built-in cooler, can holders, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker, and an electric pump for quick inflation.
Fans can buy merchandise through the White Claw website while supplies last. The collection also includes a $65 hoodie made from 14 oz fleece with a kangaroo front pocket and a $45 t-shirt made from 100% combed cotton.
"The perfect summer day for me includes my best buds, an ice-cold White Claw, the sun, a body of water to float around in and talk and play all day together," said Teddy Swims, according to PR Newswire. "That's exactly why we made the Floatmate just when you think the perfect day can't be any more perfecter."
The singer added that the collection reflects his approach to summer. "We stay on the move, and it's important to always take moments together to slow down and celebrate even the tiniest wins."
This release represents the latest moment in a year-long partnership announced in spring between the brand and the Diamond-certified artist. The collaboration brings White Claw's Grab Life By The Claw platform to life through music and friendship.
Kevin Brady, the Vice President of Marketing at White Claw, said the collection celebrates summer connections. "Hanging with friends is synonymous with summer, and this capsule collection brings that essence to life," he said.
Later this summer, Teddy Swims and White Claw will host an intimate White Claw Sessions performance at Surf Lodge in the Hamptons over Labor Day weekend. Fans will get to experience an acoustic performance. The event will conclude the summer partnership.
