If your playlist once bounced between "Superstar," "Cupid's Chokehold," and "Airplanes," this tour might feel like stepping into a musical time machine. Lupe Fiasco is bringing together some of the biggest names from the late 2000s and early 2010s for a fall tour that celebrates an unforgettable era in hip-hop and pop.
The Chicago rapper has announced the Back to Basics Tour, a co-headlining run with Gym Class Heroes that will also feature B.o.B as a special guest on most dates. The 19-city trek reunites three platinum-selling acts whose songs became staples during the blog era.
A Tour Across the Country
The tour kicks off Sept. 10 at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland before making stops in Pittsburgh, Denver, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Detroit, Boston, Sugar Land, Texas, and several other cities. The final show is set for Oct. 25 in Pinellas Park, Florida.
Fans won't have to wait long to grab their seats. Pre-sales begin July 15 at 12 p.m. ET, while tickets for the general public go on sale July 17 at 10 a.m. local time.
Other cities on the schedule include Ruidoso, Omaha, Columbus, San Antonio, Lemoore, Henderson, Mashantucket, Waukee, La Crosse, and Apopka. B.o.B is expected to perform at every stop except the Sept. 26 show in Columbus, Ohio.
A Busy Year for Lupe
The announcement adds another major milestone to Lupe Fiasco's packed 2026.
Earlier this year, he celebrated the 20th anniversary of his Grammy-winning debut album, Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor, with a special anniversary tour that included sold-out performances in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.
He also released Lupe Fiasco x Nu Deco Ensemble Live From Miami Beach, a live album recorded with Miami's Nu Deco Ensemble. The project gave several of his songs a fresh sound with the help of a 33-piece orchestra led by conductor Jacomo Bairos.
Before the fall tour begins, Lupe is scheduled to perform at several festivals and standalone shows throughout August, including appearances at the Richmond Jazz and Music Festival and HieroDay in Los Angeles.
Gym Class Heroes Return to the Stage
The Back to Basics Tour also marks another chapter in the return of Gym Class Heroes. The band blended hip-hop, rock, and pop to create crossover hits like "Cupid's Chokehold" and "Stereo Hearts," songs that became defining anthems of the era.
Although the group spent much of the 2010s on hiatus, they have reunited for occasional performances in recent years. Now, they're joining Lupe Fiasco and B.o.B for a tour that promises plenty of nostalgia and a reminder of just how many unforgettable songs came from that period in music.
