Karol G’s Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour was already shaping up to be one giant celebration, but the Colombian superstar is adding even more flavor to the journey. The singer announced Tuesday (July 14) that three major artists, Becky G, Elena Rose, and Greeicy, will join her for select stops during the North American leg of the stadium tour.
Think of it like the ultimate Latin music friendship meetup, except instead of a backyard hangout, it is happening in packed stadiums across the United States and Canada.
Becky G, who teamed up with Karol G for the massive 2022 hit “MAMIII,” will join the tour for several highly anticipated performances. She is scheduled to appear in Toronto on July 29, Washington, D.C., on Aug. 2, Los Angeles on Aug. 15, San Francisco on Aug. 21 and Aug. 22, Seattle on Aug. 26, San Antonio on Sept. 2, El Paso on Sept. 5 and Sept. 6, and East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sept. 18.
The Mexican-American singer celebrated the news on Instagram, sharing her excitement with fans.
"We’re going on tour with my tropi-mamiii @karolg!” the Mexican-American singer wrote in Spanish on Instagram. “We’ll see each other soon, I’m sooooooo excited."
The reunion is especially exciting for fans who loved hearing the two artists blend their voices on “MAMIII,” a song that became one of the biggest Latin pop hits of 2022.
Elena Rose Brings More Heart to the Stage
Venezuelan-American singer and songwriter Elena Rose will also join Karol G for several stadium dates as she continues the European leg of her own tour.
Rose is set to perform with Karol G in Chicago on July 24 and July 25, Las Vegas on Aug. 7, Los Angeles on Aug. 14, Boston on Sept. 12, East Rutherford on Sept. 17, Atlanta on Sept. 24, Miami on Oct. 2, Tampa on Oct. 9, and Dallas on Oct. 15.
According to a press release, Rose will appear at 10 U.S. stadium dates during the tour. The Grammy-nominated artist shared her gratitude for the opportunity and praised Karol G for bringing fans together.
"Thank you, Caro, for the invitation,” said the Grammy-nominated Venezuelan-American in an Instagram post. “We're so happy to bring a little piece of our hearts to this incredible tour. I love you, warriors!!!! See you very soon!!"
Greeicy Joins the Tropicoqueta Celebration
Colombian star Greeicy will also make special appearances during the tour. The singer previously worked with Karol G on the song “Amiga Mía” from Karol’s album Tropicoqueta, making her addition another exciting moment for longtime fans.
Greeicy will appear in Los Angeles on Aug. 16, Houston on Sept. 27, and Miami on Oct. 3.
With each guest bringing their own style and energy, Karol G’s Tropitour is becoming more than just a concert. It is turning into a showcase of some of the biggest voices in Latin music today.
The North American leg is part of Karol G’s massive Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, which sold more than 2 million tickets across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Latin America within four days of going on sale, according to a press release from Live Nation.
With stadiums filled, surprise appearances lined up, and a lineup of powerhouse performers, Karol G’s tropical-inspired world tour is proving that the party is only getting bigger.
