This marks her first single since "Where Have You Been" arrived in May 2025. The GRAMMY winner broke the news on July 2. Her Studio Sessions Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace will start on July 17, as well, and shows will run until mid-August.
The singer is preparing to close The Kelly Clarkson Show after seven seasons. She confirmed in February that the program will end this fall.
According to Page Six, she's "excited to move at a different pace" with the talk show behind her. She said that stepping away from the show wasn't easy, but putting her 12-year-old daughter, River, and her 10-year-old son, Remington, first felt "necessary and right for this next chapter of [their] lives."
The kids lost their father, Brandon Blackstock, to cancer in August 2025, and she's been looking forward to doing more creative work.
The 44-year-old confirmed in May that she'll return to The Voice as a coach for Season 30. The competition series will premiere on Sept. 21.
Her last album came out in 2024. She released an extended version of her holiday record called When Christmas Comes Around … Again. The year before that, Chemistry, her 10th studio album, hit shelves.
