Justin Bieber Joins Madonna, Burna Boy, and More for Star-Studded FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show

The biggest sporting event on the planet just got even bigger.

FIFA has officially announced that Justin Bieber will join an already incredible lineup for the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show on July 19. This adds another global superstar to a cast that already includes Madonna, Shakira and BTS.

The historic performance will take place during halftime of the FIFA World Cup Final at New York New Jersey Stadium. This marks the first time the tournament has featured a Super Bowl-style halftime show. The musical spectacle is expected to last approximately 11 minutes.

"I'm grateful to be part of this Halftime Show," Bieber said in a statement. "The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can, and I'm even more grateful knowing it's already helping expand access to education for children around the world."

The event is about more than entertainment. The halftime show will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. It aims to raise $100 million to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide. FIFA says more than $50 million has already been raised, with $1 from every ticket sold to World Cup 2026 matches going toward the initiative.

The lineup doesn't stop with Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, and BTS. Burna Boy, renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel, and appearances from beloved Sesame Street and Muppets characters will also be featured. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is serving as the show's curator.

With one of the most recognizable names in pop music joining an already stacked lineup, the inaugural FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show is shaping up to be one of the biggest live music events of 2026.

The FIFA World Cup Final kicks off Sunday, July 19.
