Niall Horan to Make Grand Ole Opry Debut During Centennial Celebration, Performs With Thomas Rhett

Niall Horan will step onto the Grand Ole Opry stage for the first time on July 7, a milestone appearance tied to the historic venue's centennial celebration. The Opry announced the booking with a playful nod to Horan's new album, posting that it was "throwin' a Dinner Party" to mark the occasion. Two days later, on July 9, Horan will share a bigger stage with country star Thomas Rhett for a concert at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Nashville dates arrive as Horan promotes Dinner Party, his fourth solo album, which dropped in early June and leans toward a more stripped-down, singer-songwriter style. Critics have taken notice of the shift, and the Opry booking gives Horan a chance to test that new direction before a famously traditional country audience.

Horan and Rhett aren't stopping at one show. The pair will co-headline two stadium concerts this summer, with the Nashville date followed by a July 18 performance at Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The collaboration follows a reworked version of Rhett's song "Old Tricks" that the two recently released together.

Tickets for the Opry debut are available on the Opry's website through AXS. The centennial lineup surrounding Horan's appearance features a wide mix of veteran Opry members and newcomers, including Mandy Barnett, Suzy Bogguss, Chris Janson, Lorrie Morgan, Chris Young, Tanya Tucker, and Tori Kelly.

Horan first found fame in 2010 as a member of One Direction after appearing on The X Factor. Since launching his solo career, he has become a multi-platinum artist with more than 90 million records sold worldwide, building on the success of his 2024–2025 trek, The Show Live on Tour, which sold over 1.2 million tickets globally.

Looking further ahead, Horan will kick off his Dinner Party Live On Tour on Sept. 22 in Birmingham, England, before bringing the run to North America with a March 17, 2027, stop in St. Paul, Minnesota. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will hit major arenas across the continent before wrapping in Vancouver, British Columbia, in May 2027.
