Just days after news of her split from Jelly Roll made headlines, Bunnie XO is telling her side of the story.
The podcast host and bestselling author released a new episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast titled “The Divorce,” offering an emotional and candid look at the end of her nearly 10-year marriage. She addressed the rumors, reflected on what went wrong, and shared surprising details about her future and her relationship with Jelly Roll.
Bunnie XO Revealed the Argument That Changed Everything
Bunnie opened up about the final disagreement that led to the divorce filing.
“And so on Mother’s Day, we had a little bit of an argument, which I don’t think the details are necessary…And in that argument, I was so fed up and so tired that I just looked at him and I said, ‘Well, then file the f****** divorce papers,’” even though she said the words, she admitted she never thought he would go through with it.
She added, “Was I blindsided, and was this divorce mutual? No, it was not mutual. Even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and just frustration.”
Shutting Down Cheating Rumors
One topic Bunnie addressed directly was speculation that infidelity caused the split.
She made it clear that no one cheated: “Nobody cheated on the other person. It’s literally just we served our purpose for each other, and I’m excited to discover myself single and single and sober, which is crazy.”
Jelly Roll Is Already Dating
In one of the episode's most surprising moments, Bunnie confirmed that Jelly Roll has already started dating. “And the crazy thing is, I’m not even ready to hook up with a dude. I’m ready to just focus on myself, pour into myself. But my husband is ready to date.”
She also stressed that the rumors linking her to Nickelback’s frontman Chad Kroeger weren’t true. “There’s no f****** way in hell that would even be a thing, and know I did not cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad and none of that. Please.”
Bunnie then apologized to Kroeger and the band for being dragged into the issue. “I am not dating Chad Kroger. I am so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for this happening. It’s embarrassing.”
Their Family Plans Haven't Changed
Despite the divorce, Bunnie revealed that one major dream remains intact: becoming parents together.
She shared that she and Jelly Roll still plan to continue their IVF and surrogacy journey. “I love him, and you guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby. We’re still having a baby together.”
