Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie XO in May in Tennessee. Court records obtained by TMZ confirm the split.

The filing ends a marriage that started in August 2016. Sources described it as a mutual decision and a private family matter, TMZ reported.

The couple met backstage at a show in Las Vegas in 2015. They started dating the following year. The musician proposed during a performance in 2016, and they got married hours later in a Las Vegas courthouse.

One week before the wedding, the country artist welcomed a son with another woman. His former partner had been in an on-and-off relationship with him for nearly a decade. Bunnie described it as "highly toxic" in her book. "The other woman was already eight, nine months pregnant when J and I began our relationship," she wrote in Stripped Down.

The pair split several times during their marriage. In 2018, they separated for three months. Bunnie later said the time apart "helped them grow," according to People.

During one separation, the singer announced their breakup on Instagram before their agreed timeline ended.

They renewed their vows in Las Vegas in 2023. The ceremony took place at the same chapel where they first got married. They marked their seventh anniversary there. Bunnie has said they "make the choice every day to stay dedicated to each other."

Bunnie worked in the sex industry before leaving in 2023. She has described her past as part of a story about survival and reinvention. Her exit from that work came as the couple's mainstream profile grew.

The pair worked on several projects during their marriage, including her "Dumb Blonde" podcast and his touring career. They made frequent red-carpet appearances as a team.

Their public presence often showed their openness to talk about struggles. They shared details about their marriage on social media and in interviews. Both have described their bond as raw and messy but committed.

The divorce filing marks a shift from their public image. The couple had focused on family life, IVF treatments, and media ventures in recent years.

Court records from Tennessee confirm the May filing date. No additional details about custody arrangements or financial settlements have been made public.
