North West just hit a major milestone.

The 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West performed solo at a music festival for the very first time on Friday, June 12. She took the stage at Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash 2026 festival in Bridgeview, Illinois, and the crowd was ready for it.

A Big Night for North

Kim Kardashian gave fans a peek behind the scenes by sharing a photo of backstage passes on her Instagram Stories. The passes featured North's face and the words "Stage 3 … North West."

She also reposted several videos of North performing for cheering fans. The young performer wore an all-black Balenciaga look, complete with spiky jewelry, black sneaker boots and oversized black sunglasses.

Kanye West showed his support too. He reposted a clip of North performing their 2024 collaboration “TALKING,” from his album Vultures 1, as fans chanted along to the song.

Family Support Everywhere

Kim's stylist, Dani Levi, also shared moments from the festival on Instagram Stories. She posted photos of herself and North backstage and videos of them walking around the festival grounds before the performance.

Levi later shared another clip of North onstage, capturing the excitement of the moment.

Building Her Music Career

North's festival debut comes a little more than a month after the release of her first EP, N0rth4Evr, which dropped on May 1.

Just days after releasing the EP, North surprised fans with a performance alongside rapper Molly Santana at the Rolling Loud music festival in Orlando, Florida.

Earlier this year, she also joined her father during his SoFi Stadium concert, performing "TALKING" and "Piercing on My Hand."

Kim and Kanye share four children together: North, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7.

For North, this latest performance was more than just another appearance. It was her first chance to take center stage all on her own, and it may be only the beginning.
