Megan Thee Stallion Sued Over Wardrobe Fees, Calls Charges Fraudulent

Stylist Eric Archibald and his company, Six K, filed a lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion in the Los Angeles County Superior Court for unpaid wardrobe fees. The rapper denied everything, saying her finance team discovered fraudulent invoices during an audit.

The complaint alleged that the 31-year-old artist hired Archibald through Six K to provide styling services. Multiple events were involved, and invoices were submitted to related Stallion entities from Jan. 25, 2025, to Jan. 8, 2026.

Six K and Archibald said that they spent nearly two years trying to collect payment before filing the lawsuit. "Despite the fact that Six K has made numerous and unsuccessful attempts to resolve payment over the course of the last two years, there is still no imminent direction towards settlement between the parties," the complaint stated, according to People.

The plaintiffs claimed personal and professional impacts. They said that a portion of the money owed goes to third-party vendors.

Megan Thee Stallion pushed back against the allegations. Hard. "My finance team conducted a comprehensive audit of Eric Archibald's wardrobe expenses and uncovered fraudulent invoices, unsupported charges, and styling shipments tied to addresses that could not be verified," she added. "Those findings raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of expenses that we repeatedly tried to resolve privately with Eric's team."

"Rather than address the issues from the audit, Eric and his team chose to file a lawsuit," she continued. "The facts are on our side, and I won't be coerced into paying charges that can't be substantiated."

Archibald has over 30 years of experience in the styling industry. His client list includes Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey, Lil' Kim, Missy Elliott, and Bruno Mars.

The lawsuit arrived during a turbulent period for the GRAMMY winner. She won a defamation case in December 2025 against blogger Milagro Gramz, whose legal name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper. A jury of five men and four women found in her favor.

The artist also exited her Broadway run in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on May 1, after being hospitalized on Mar. 30. She was rushed to the hospital after feeling ill during a performance. Her run was scheduled through May 17. On May 28, she walked the runway at the 2026 Paraiso Miami Swim Week in Miami Beach for her swimwear label, Hot Girl Summer.
